About This Course

Students taking this class will learn how to understand the basic approach to acting on stage. The terms we will cover will be finding your ideas in the text, understanding when an idea is an action or a thought, knowing how to pursue an objective and image, understanding the power verbs (Scold & Praise) and knowing who you are talking too. We will be using the monologue format for our learning this week. I will share with you a free website for monologues you can use for the class and the future for auditions or other acting classes. We will have a performance at the end of the week, in which we will record, so you can share with family and friends.

Requirements

No previous skills or knowledge is needed for this class. This class is perfect for the beginning or advanced actor.
